“My sister and I gave each other a weekend in Carmel-by-the-Sea, for a Christmas present. Lamp Lighter Inn had everything we wanted and more; namely Melissa, the Innkeeper. She is the best! Melissa has great recommendations, in-depth knowledge of the area, is charismatic, and made us feel like family. Our room, the Early Bird Room was perfect for us. We especially loved the Dutch door and breakfast offerings in the garden courtyard with fireplace and cozy couches. The perfect common area for the guests. The location is perfect, as well. It’s the closest lodging to the ocean and near downtown.”
